Wave 3 Update

Hi Unkindled,
Thank you all for your patience in waiting for us to gather all of this information for this update. As you can appreciate, we are working with multiple people across several time zones and we wanted to ensure that the information we present is as accurate as we can.
We’ll be doing a break down of each piece of content for Wave 3 detailing where it’s up to in the production process, and then explaining what we’re currently waiting on for any aspects which aren’t marked as complete. We’ll also be covering the retailer bonus unlocks, these will arrive in Wave 4 which will be sent out shortly after Wave 3 to our retailer backers.
Before we break down all the content, let’s talk dates. Wave 3 is expected to arrive with our backers during Quarter 4 of 2019 with the caveat that depending on where you are in the world shipping times can vary greatly. Wave 4 is expected to arrive with our retailer backers between late Quarter 4 2019 and early Quarter 1 2020.
During fulfilment of Wave 2 the amount of pledges returned to SFG HQ was much larger than anticipated. In the next few months we will be requesting all backers re-enter their shipping information to ensure it is accurate in preparation for Wave 3 fulfilment. When we begin this process, we’ll put out an update detailing what our backers need to do, but for now we just want to make you aware that it’s something we’ll be doing in the future.
So, let’s begin going through each piece of content, where it’s at and what’s left to be done. From this point forward, we’ll be posting an update every 2 weeks in the format seen below to show the progress on each piece of content. Once all 4 areas are marked as complete, we’ll add some photos of the final sample for you all to see.
Wave 3 – Stretch Goals, Vordt and Tile Set

Tooling: In Progress - Ruined Aflis, Xanthous King Jeramiah and Armourer Dennis have all been retooled after flaws in the miniatures showed during quality assurance checks. We’re awaiting the sample of these 3 miniatures to arrive for SFG approval.

Iron Keep Expansion

Graphical Assets: In Progress - Pre-production samples of tiles have been sent to Bandai Namco for approval to make sure the colour balance on the printed tiles matches the tone in the source material. Ensuring all parties involved are satisfied with the look and quality of our products is of paramount importance to us, hopefully you can appreciate how important this part of the process is.

Executioner's Chariot
Design and Development: Complete
Tooling: In Progress - Sculpt has been sent to our manufacturing partner, they will now make modifications to ensure the sculpt is ready for production.

What to Expect in 2019 & Happy Holidays

Hey Unkindled,
In this brief update we’re going address, at least in some way, Wave 3. Over the past few months our focus has been the delivery of Wave 2. There have been hurdles along the way, but the vast majority of Wave 2 is now out and in the hands of backers. We still have returns arriving at the office and we’ll continue to process those as they come in, along with all enquiries to support.
So, onto the information about Wave 3. The biggest concern ahead of any other from backers seems to be “Are we still receiving stretch goals?” The answer to this is yes. As we’ve stated from the start, we intend to deliver all the content that was unlocked during the Kickstarter campaign.
In January next year we will be providing a break down of what the plan is from here with Wave 3, the processes we’re going to follow along the way, and the time we’re expecting it to ship to our backers.
This will be our final update for 2018 as the SFG Office will be closed from Friday 21st December until 2nd January as we shut for the Holiday Season. We’ll be back in touch after the New Year with more Wave 3 information as detailed above. We hope you all have a great Holiday Season!
Wave 2 Shipping, Fulfilment, Returns & Canadian Post Strikes Impact

This week there is a change from the format of our last few updates to cover some specific issues that have arisen regarding shipping and returns.
Last Friday (23rd of November) we sent out an email to backers who had their Wave 2 packages returned to SFG HQ. Feedback to these emails suggests an alarmingly high rate of backers not receiving tracking numbers for their orders, this feedback is also present in the comments with the packages currently arriving with backers in the EU.
Based on this feedback, we undertook an investigation as to why the tracking information for packages isn’t making its way to backers. We have established the issue, and this is now being addressed. This investigation has led to a small delay in getting all the remaining Wave 2 EU orders out.
The initial date of completion was given as the 23rd November. Following these issues, our aim is now to have the rest of these EU orders sent out by the end of this week (7th December), if we have no further issues regarding the tracking information. Backers for orders from this point forward will receive tracking information via email. We will continue to monitor these orders to ensure correct tracking information is being sent throughout this process.
Due to the feedback regarding tracking information an email is being sent out to those affected by the package returns offering to ship their Wave 2 package back out, free of charge. This does require action from those which have been affected. If you received one of these emails, please reply with the requested information as soon as possible. All backers for which we have had returns arrive at SFG HQ (to the present date) have been contacted.
The final complication we must discuss regarding shipping relates to the recent Canada Post rotating strikes which began on the 22nd of October. All packages to Canadian backers were sent from the hub by the 19th of October. This means it is likely some of our Canadian backers will experience a delay in receiving their Wave 2 packages due to the Canada Post strikes.
Apologies for the delays and concerns caused by the matters covered in this update. We will continue to update on the progress of the remaining EU orders as we move forward. Please let us know if you have any further issues with tracking information, so we can implement any alterations as soon as possible.
Wave 2 Shipping & Fulfilment – Update 5

Apologies for the gap between this update and the last, we’ve been working away to resolve an issue with some of our shipments to EU backers… and we finally have some news for you!
Container Shipping
As was covered in our previous update all the shipping containers arrived safely at their destinations and were collected by our shipping partners. Complete.
Fulfilment
This section concerns the shipping of individual parcels to backers directly, once the shipping container has been unloaded and organised.
United Kingdom
All packages to backers in the United Kingdom sent. Complete.
All packages to backers in the Rest of World sent. Complete.
United States
All packages to backers in the United States sent. Complete.
Canada
All packages to backers in Canada sent. Complete.
Asia
All packages to backers in Asia sent. Complete.
Australia
All packages to backers in Australia sent. Complete.
European Union
There was a delay caused by a scheduling complication with the EU hub. Orders containing three items or less were fulfilled by the UK hub, which is why there was no delay to them. To prevent any further delay to the rest of our EU backers these orders will be sent from the UK hub, and are due to complete November 23rd. In Progress.

We’ve increased the size of our support team to handle the current level of traffic to our support team and decrease response times. However, please bear with us while awaiting a response.

This update focuses on the Wave 2 Shipping & Fulfilment! Good news! All the Shipping Containers have safely arrived at their destination and have been collected by our Shipping Partners.
Container Shipping
This section concerns the large shipping containers you see on the back of lorries and on ships. These make their way to warehouses and hubs where they are unloaded before product is sent to backers.
