General Update #2: COVID-19

Hey Retail Backers,
Hope this update finds you all safe and healthy.
We’re touching base to let you know what’s going on at Steamforged Games right now.
On March 23, the United Kingdom was put on lockdown.
That means all SFG staff who can are now working from home.
Luckily, we’ve already got a great internal communication system and are used to working with remote staff and partners.
So, for the most part, things are ticking on as normal.
Sadly, although we want to give you more definite news, it’s still hard to say for certain how the remaining Wave 4 products will be affected, while the coronavirus situation is ongoing.
Your support, patience, and understanding are seriously appreciated as we work out the best way to get your rewards to you with as little delay as possible.
It’s an uncertain time for everyone right now, but the spirit of the tabletop and board gaming community is truly inspiring.
We’ll be back with another update as soon as possible.
Wave 4 | General Update: Covid-19

Hi Retail Backers,
As you’ve probably heard, there’s currently a viral outbreak.
The coronavirus, Covid-19, is thought to have hit 24 countries to date. China has been severely affected, which is where our production partners are based.
We won’t know the full extent of the impact on Dark Souls™: The Board Game while the situation is ongoing, but we’re getting regular updates from our partners.
Right now, those partners are operating under restrictions that limit the number of staff allowed to work in one place at a time, which means production in the factories has temporarily stopped.
Although we’re keen to stay on track, the main concern right now is the well being of all involved.
As soon as we have any news for Dark Souls™: The Board Game, we’ll let you know.

Wave 3 Shipping Update 3 | Wave 4 Shipping Update 1

Worldwide Wave 3 fulfilment is complete!
We’ve had a small number of returned parcels for each hub and will be reaching out to backers to get these re-sent.

For regular backers, that’s everything fulfilled!
For retail backers, we’re on to Wave 4...
Wave 4 - Retail
The Last Giant:
We’ve been working hard in the background to get this shipped out. It may even have popped up in your store already.
Right now, all fulfilment is complete except for Canada, which is due to be done by the end of this month.
If you’re a retailer and you haven’t received your stuff by Monday 17 February, let us know.
You can also order The Last Giant from the SFG store using your digital voucher (if you haven’t used it already).
We’ve extended the expiry date for all unused vouchers an extra month, so they’re now valid until 23:59 GMT on February 19 2020.
Based on the information we have right now, we expect to be fulfilling Executioner’s Chariot in the second half of May 2020.
So, if you’re planning on moving before then, please let us know.
Manus Father of the Abyss:
Right now, the date for Manus is pending.
Once Chinese New Year has passed and the factories have reopened, we’ll be able to give you an estimated fulfilment timeline.

In the meantime, if you need to submit a support ticket, you can do that here.
Any tickets will be logged in the system and Support will be back to answer them from January 6, 2020.

Wave 3 Shipping Update 2

We’re thrilled to hear many of you have already received your Stretch Goals.
As of last week, Wave 3 fulfilment is in progress worldwide!
Two key notes:
- Until we post an update to say Wave 3 fulfilment is complete, Wave 3 fulfilment is still in progress. So, don’t worry if you haven’t yet had your tracking number.
- If your rewards are showing as "Shipped" on Backerkit, that just means we've sent your details to the fulfilment hub. You’ll receive a tracking number once the hub has sent out your rewards.
To give you an idea of when to expect your tracking numbers and rewards, here’s a breakdown for each area:
Your fulfilment hub, Quartermaster, has already sent out over 9,000 orders.
In addition, the stock from the MOL CHARISMA arrived at Quartermaster’s hub on November 6 2019.
(This shipment contained another 8,000+ boxes of Stretch Goals, plus all copies of the Vordt and Double-Sided Gaming Tiles add-ons.)
Previously, Quartermaster was only able to send out orders that didn’t include add-ons.
However, Quartermaster is also now able to send out orders that do include add-ons, i.e. Vordt of the Boreal Valley and/or Darkroot Basin and Iron Keep Tile Set.
HANOI BRIDGE (the boat carrying Language Copies and Retail Units) is currently still on the water.
United Kingdom, Europe and Rest of World
Your fulfilment hub, 3PL, started sending out rewards on November 6 2019.
As of November 11 2019, one third of orders have already been sent!
If you haven’t received your tracking number already, you should get it soon.
(But as 3PL is covering the largest number of countries, don’t worry if you don’t get it straight away.)
The stock from the EVER GOLDEN, which is carrying Language Copies and Retail Units will arrive at our UK HQ on November 13th.
Your fulfilment hub, Aetherworks, has started sending out rewards and should be finished this week!
Stretch Goals and Add-Ons will be shipping separately, so if you have Vordt of the Boreal Valley and/or Darkroot Basin and Iron Keep Tile Set, they’ll be coming as an additional delivery.
Your fulfilment hub, VFI, started sending out rewards around November 1 2019.
